One way numberplate screws

The Rotary Club of Runaway Bay, in conjunction with Neighbourhood Watch Runaway Islands 3 and volunteers in Policing are installing “one way” numberplate screws free of charge to local motorists. The screws are to reduce the instance of numberplate theft. It is not uncommon to find stolen numberplates used in Service Station "drive offs"

If local residents wish to have a set installed please call or visit the Runaway Bay Police Station, corner Morala and Lae Street, Runaway Bay. This is necessary so as to arrange an appointment for Volunteers in Policing to install them, it only a few minutes.

A removal tool for the removal of personalized plates when needed.
